You will be missed, Mel. Had some good family times both in Chicago and AZ. You are now with family with our Lord, your Mom, Eva, brother, Donald and my beloved wife, Alonda and nephew, Allen. May you rest in peace and join the others watching over us.

Uncle Mel was the best uncle a kid could have. From coaching me in little league to taking me on all the family vacations. He was the best story teller I have ever met. If a subject was brought up, Mel had a story from experience. A stern voice but an even more contagious laugh! I am so lucky to have had him in my life (and now my children's lives). You will be missed but never forgotten. Those who are talked about or remembered are never truly gone. You will be in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, Uncle Mel....go easy. I love you.

I love you and miss you, I've been remembering the times as children, how we would play, the things we would do.
I had a wonder time, driving out from Michigan with you, after Tom died. It was our time together.
I know you were greeted by Mom, Donald, and Alonda, so you are not alone.
