Steven Roth of Avon, formerly of Forest View, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 8th at age 65. He was a gentle, kind, generous and loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Steve worked at Navistar as a machinist for 32 years until his retirement. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan. In younger days he enjoyed bowling and golfing, but will be most remembered for his love of hunting and fishing. He leaves behind brothers Charles (sister-in-law Jackie), Richard, Joseph, Robert, sister Margaret, along with nephews, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephew and many fish stories yet to be told. Steve was passionate about improving and preserving the waters of his favorite place to fish, the Chetek Chain of Lakes in Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Chetek Lakes Protection Association, www.cheteklakespa.org.
