Ronald J. Robare, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026.
Born on July 25, 1957, in Oak Park, Illinois, Ron was the cherished son of Arlene (Porter) and William Robare.
Ron was truly one of a kind. He adored his daughter, Heather, and his son-in-law, Jose Garcia. He loved nothing more than spending time with his beloved grandchildren, Danny, Benji, Gracie, and Lily; sharing stories, making memories, drinking iced coffee, and simply being “Grandpa.” He lived life on his own terms. He never met a stranger he couldn’t strike up a conversation with. He was also a loving uncle to many and remained connected to countless friends and family members throughout his life.
Ron is survived by his loving daughter, Heather (Jose) Garcia; cherished grandchildren, Danny, Benji, Gracie, and Lily; his former wife, Sue, with whom he shared his daughter, Heather; former wife, Brenda; and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlene and William Robare; his brothers, Mark Robare and William Robare II; and his nephew, William Robare III.
Ron will be remembered for his gift of conversation, his sense of humor, his love for his family, and the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
