Ronald Hagy

Ronald L. Hagy, age 65, died Monday, March 23 at Hines VA Hospital after a long battle with Lung cancer. Mr. Hagy is survived by a wife, Mary, three children: Rhonda Ybarra, Lori Hagy and Richard Hagy. He also leaves behind five grandchildren: Daniel Fernbach, Caitlin Fernbach, Zachary Frontczak, Nicole Frontczak and Samuel Smierciak, one brother, Clifford Hagy and many Nieces and Nephews. Ronald is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Viet Nam Service Medal, Viet Nam Campaign Medal with device, and Rifle Marksman Badge. He grew up in Pilsen and just recently moved to the Clearing neighborhood.  He served 6 years with distinction as a Marine in Vietnam, the discipline and patriotism he learned in the Marines never left him, as friends and family will attest.
