Rogelio Borjas

Rogelio Borjas, a loyal and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on May 17th, 2023, at the age of 73. Born on October 1st, 1949, in Mexico, Rogelio lived a life that exemplified thoughtfulness and generosity. He resided in Lyons, Illinois, where he built a loving home with his wife, Maria I. Borjas. Rogelio spent his career as a truck driver, showcasing his dedication to providing for his family. Rogelio was a truly generous man, always there for family and friends in times of need. His thoughtfulness extended beyond his immediate family, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of neighbors and friends. Rogelio is survived by his loving wife, Maria I. Borjas; sons, Rogelio (Yajaira) Borjas Jr and Javier (Gabriela) Nuño; daughter, Claudia (Matias) Padilla; grandchildren, Bianca, Micaela, Johan, Arlo, Leo, Gael, Diego, Alinah, Adriana, Matt, Sammy and Sophia. He is preceded in death by his son, Teodulo Nuño.  Rogelio's memory will live on through the love and strength of his family, who will cherish the moments they shared with him.
