Mary Lou Malekovic

Mary Lou Malekovic, age 93 of Lyons, IL passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. Mary Lou was born February 5, 1932 in Oak Park, IL.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband George; two sons George Jr. and Bobby; and her brothers Jim, Chuck and Ron. She is survived by her children, Lynda Parks, Anna Eck and Ron, and her grandchildren, Jerry Parks (Jackie), Gina Parks, Michael Parks, and Bobby Eck, and two great grandchildren. She was loved by many nephews, nieces and friends.  She was a devoted homemaker and member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lyons, IL.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, arts and crafts, camping with her family and traveling with her husband and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.  Visitation on Thursday October 23, from 3-8 p.m. at Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 Joliet Avenue in Lyons.  Funeral Friday, 9:00-10:00 a.m. visitation, then 10:00 service at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church 7930 W. Ogden Avenue in Lyons, IL.  Interment, Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs, IL.
