Beloved wife of the late Carlos; loving mother of Victor (Patty); dear sister of Billy Cody; grandmother of Zach, Max, Jessica and Eddie; great-grandmother of Emma, and devoted friend to many. Passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 surrounded by so many who love her, her son Victor, his wife Patty, her brother Billy, her sister-in-law Pam and her dear friends Alyce (Boots) Kittle-Brown and Kathy Kittle.
Loretta was born in San Diego, California and moved with her family to Chicago as a child. She met the love of her life, Carlos, in Chicago when she was 14 years old. They were married for close to 61 years.
Loretta was always smiling, always happy. Some of her favorite things were dancing, rock and roll, Elvis, fried chicken, bingo and getting together with friends. She was an active member in the Catholic church for most of her life.
Loretta is loved by so many and will be sadly missed.
