Joseph A Karasek

Joseph Andrew “Pepi” Karasek, 88, of Lyons, Illinois passed away on July 7, 2021. He
leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years Jeanne; faithful sons, Steve and James (Dolly)
and grandsons Andrew and Matthew. He was a long time resident of Lyons and served on
the Zoning Board for many years. He was also a longtime member of the Emil Scheive
American Legion Post #699. Joseph was a proud Veteran of the US Army, serving our
country during the Korean War. Visitation will be on Friday July 9 at Tower Home for
Funerals 4007 Joliet Avenue Lyons IL from 3-8pm. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday
July 10 at Mater Christi Church 2401 S. 10 th Avenue North Riverside IL at 10 am.
