John G Robertson

John G. Robertson, 83, of Lyons, IL, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022. 

He was born on May 2, 1939, to Clarke John Robertson and Anita Ely. 

John married Susan M. Robertson  

He worked for the United States Postal Service for some years as a mail carrier. 

John was very affectionate. He awoke and went to bed, always giving hugs and kisses. His favorite food was toast and tea. John loved sweets, especially yellow cake and sweet potato pie. He enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley. John also enjoyed listening to a baseball game on his radio at night. He was also an avid movie watcher. Enjoying crime and action movie genres. 

John is survived by his C.S.S. Family and his Lyons’ Rose Family. His brothers, Eric Extrom, David Klein, Karel Tomecek, Thomas Phillips and Al Dunn. Also, his devoted staff Alma Watson.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anita Robertson; brother Gilbert, and wife Susan M. Robertson. 

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2022, 10:00AM to 12PM at Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 Joliet Avenue, Lyons, Il 60534.
