Obituary
Janice Josefik (80) of Brookfield, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 7th, 2022 in her
home, surrounded by her friends and family. Janice was a very loving and caring person, she
loved to travel, read, listen to Elvis, and most importantly, spend time with her family. Although
having an extensive career in medical billing, Janice would always say that her most proud and
memorable job was at the Lagrange public library, where she would help children with book
selection and read all day long! Janice is predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Alice Kernik
as well as her husband John J. Josefik III. She is survived by her sister Darlene, two children
Michael and Jill (Daniel) her 5 grandchildren: Ryan, Daniel Jr, John, Michael, and Nicholas; her
two nephews Keith and David, along with her niece Deanna. Beloved Janice had a heart of gold and will be missed by many.
