Maria Villarreal

Maria Soledad Felix Villarreal, age 84, passed away on Saturday, August 18th, 2018. She was born to Jose Maria Felix and Maria Luz Landin Felix on March 11, 1934, in Irapuato, Gto, Mexico.  Devoted wife of the late Hijinio Fernando Villarreal. Loving mother of Christine Behnke (Jeffrey), Adriana Prasch (Joseph), Sandra Lindmark (Scot), Lora Noel (Randal), and the late Patricia Moreno.  Loving sister of late Alfredo Felix, late Antonia Felix Trujillo, late Anna Felix Arias, late Rosario Felix Sanchez, late Ignacio Felix, late Carolina Felix Moreno, late Jose Maria Felix Jr, and Genaro Felix.  Grandmother of Carolina Arrezola (Daniel), Maria Luz Bork (Aaron), Amanda Purtell (Brandon), Mark Smith (Kim), Nicholas Lindmark (Brian), William Prasch, Jason Noel, Allison Prasch, Cassandra Lindmark, Emily Noel, Lianna Noel, Jaydin Noel, Aaliyah Noel.  Great grandmother of Aidan Purtell, Robert Bork, Mark Smith III, Liam Purtell, Emma Smith and D. Nikkolai Arrezola.  Great great grandmother of Nikkolai Arrezola. She will be greatly missed by all of her other family members.

She was a very strong, independent, hard-working, loving, selfless and giving person.  She helped many of her family and friends when the need arose.  She had a great love of gardening and cooking for all.  She has left us with many whole-hearted wonderful, warm, fun and amusing memories.

We are honoring her wishes and having a private burial with no memorial service.  In her memory, she has requested any donations be made to the Disabled American Veteran (DAV.org).  Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts, phone calls, text messages and kind words.
