Lisa Hernandez

On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, Lisa Hernandez, loving wife and mother of 8 children and 12 grandchildren passed away at the age 61. She was born October 16, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her parents Anastacio & Juanita (Sambrano) Montes DeOca. She is also survived by her husband Gilberto Hernandez, her 8 children Belinda (William) Elizabeth (James) Leonardo (Lucy) Eva (Adam) Melva (Eduardo) Irene (Jesus) Gilberto Jr. and Christopher. Also her 12 grandchildren Christine, Lisa, Liv, Leo, Ian, Alan, Joshua, Jaliz, Bella, Mia, Carolina and Liam. As well as her 7 siblings Maryjane, Diana, Irene, John, Rosario, Marylou and Gracie. Lisa loved her family and always wanted to be surrounded by them. She loved to travel and see new places. She was the queen of DO IT YOURSELF with many new projects at home. She loved to cook and watch everyone enjoy her food. She was unstoppable not even cancer could slow her down. Lisa was filled with love and compassion for everyone. She was a wonderful daughter, amazing mother and sister and the best grandmother to her grandkids. Who were her pride and joy. She will always be remembered in our hearts and the joyous memories she left behind.
