Edward Roman Kempa

Edward Roman Kempa, 89, of Lyons, IL passed away peacefully on May 7th, 2019. Loving son of the late John and Josephine (Zanga) Kempa. Loving brother of the late  Jean (John) Cwirko and the late Joseph (Patricia). Beloved Uncle to the late Anna (Leonard) Cichowski, Patricia (the late Gregory Gore Sr.) and Margaret Zielinski. Great-Uncle to Deborah (John) Glista, the late Cynthia Rogiers, Gregory Jr., (Judy), David (Kim) Gore and Audrey (John) Klawiter and Mark Zielinski. Great Great Uncle to 11 nieces and nephews. Ed worked as an accountant for the University of Chicago until retirement. He enjoyed golfing, watching sports and loved his desserts. “Lets eat dessert first” was one of Uncle Eddies famous sayings. He was the fun Uncle with Friday nights being filled with amusement parks, sledding, skating, pizza and ice cream, a true kid at heart! We will all miss you Uncle Eddie. Rest in Peace.
