Rodolfo Sosa

Rodolfo, age 78, lost his battle to cancer and transitioned into the spirit world at 12:47 a.m. August 15, 2017 at the Alden Town Manor Nursing Home in Berwyn, Illinois.  A long-time resident of Little Village, Chicago, Il., Rodolfo lived a full life of travel, steel labor, and as a mechanic, at heart.  Loyal husband to Rosamaria Sosa Saldaña and father of Jorge Sosa, Rodolfo C. Sosa, Sandra Sosa, and Diana Sosa.  Survived by his siblings Virginia Moreno, Amelia Hinojosa, Dionisio Banda, and Jesus Banda.  He is remembered for his comical and social nature, as well as his conservative life principles and values.  He loved a variety of sports, especially boxing, lucha libre, football and baseball.  His talents were in mechanics and home improvement.  Our deep gratitude goes to all of the staff at the Alden Town Manor and to the Sanctuary Hospice Care unit for providing diligent care to our loved one, especially during these last few months.  A mass and memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Good Shepherd Church, 2735 S.
