Pedro Sustaita

Pedro Sustaita, age 70, of Lyons, Illinois, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019. He entered this life February 20, 1949, in Armadillo de los Infante, SLP, Mexico, the son of Nicanor and Celerina (Sustaita) Navarrete.  Pedro was joined in marriage January 18, 1972, to Betty J. Molinar. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and his only sister, Francisca Navarrete.  Pedro worked for 43 years as a laborer at Chicago Extruded Metals. He had a passion for playing putting in and tending to his vegetable garden every year, taking his cats out in the yard to play, his lottery tickets and scratchers and playing with his grandchildren.  Pedro was an outstanding husband, father, uncle, and grandfather. The memories made with him will bring smiles to many faces for years to come. He will be greatly missed. Pedro is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Sustaita; son, Peter (Beth) Sustaita of Joliet, Illinois; daughter, Elizabeth Sustaita (Steve Krawczyk) of Lyons, Illinois; grandchildren: Noah, Blake, Tyler, and Anthony; He will be forever remembered by his siblings, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, in-laws and friends. A  visitation will take place Saturday, November 9th from 3 to 8 P.M. at The Tower Home for Funerals and Cremation4007 Joliet Road, Lyons, Illinois 60534 In lieu of flowers please do a mass for Pedro, who will be cremated, not buried.
